Living off the wall...

Living off the wall takes on a whole new meaning with these mini planters by London design team Thelermont Hupton, new to CO this month. These pots are for anyone who loves the idea of having a wall garden -- inside the house! It can be quite an undertaking to turn an interior wall into a lush green oasis, but these "Off the wall" pots are a practical alternative. Mounted with invisible hardware to seem as if they're floating, they are perfect for small indoor plants and herbs. We've planted some up at CO with different varieties of indoor plants; come in and check them out! We will post pictures of our success in "greening" our wall on our Facebook page.

Also part of the "Off the Wall" collection is a series of graphic, bold, geometric coat hooks. And somewhat off the wall and very tongue in cheek are Thelermont Hupton's "Stuck on you" hooks -- a knife, a rolling pin and a saucepan -- that appear embedded in the wall creating a quirky still life. The actual size of real utensils, the trompe l'eoil effect is humourous even as it suggests the possibility of a bizarre temper tantrum in the kitchen.
