CO is pleased to be expanding the group of designers who create all the innovative and beautiful objects we show and sell. In the past few weeks we have added Montréal designer, Louis-Philippe Pratte, to our roster of creators. Pratte is the visionary behind À Hauteur d'homme (Hh), a line of wooden furniture that offers an affordable alternative to disposable furniture, and where the materials and the design work together in a harmonious balance.

We also introduce Mikael Mourgue and Salomé Strappazzon, the creative husband and wife team behind ToyToy. ToyToy, a new brand of children`s furniture made in Québec out of recycled cardboard, was launched last weekend at SIDIM, the Montréal International Interior Deisgn Show, where it was awarded the SIDIM 2010 Award of Excellence in the category "New product -- sustainable development". CO is carrying the functional and fun ToyToy children`s armchair -- a great way for environmentally-concious parents to furnish without breaking the bank.

From farther afield, we are pleased to announce that our sojour to Stockholm Design Week in February is paying great dividends with new arrivals at CO! We are very happy to be the first location in Canada to carry Cathrine Kullberg`s beautiful Norwegian Forest lighting. These delicate lampshades meld classic Scandinavian tradition with modern laser technology to create uniquely atmospheric lighting.
