David Trubridge shines on St. Laurent!

Thanks to everyone who came in on Thursday night for the vernissage! We had a full house, which was fantastic. And the lights were the stars of the show. They are magnificent and look spectacular in the space, casting a lovely warm and happy glow out on to St. Laurent Boulevard. A big thank you to all who gave a hand.

For the record, we served two New Zealand wines from Hawkes Bay (home of David Trubridge). The white was a Sauvignon Blanc from Matua Valley and the red was a 2008 Merlot from the Sileni Cellar. Both were delicious and paired very well with the excellent food provided by Anni Lawrence, which included grilled rack of lamb and ricotta ravioli with porcini spread.

More pictures of the lights and the event will be loaded onto our Facebook page, along with a video message sent by David Trubridge that was prepared at the vernissage.
