At CO, we love good functional design, and we're wild about animals, so Steph Mantis and Ross Menuez are great new additions to our growing list of designers and of wildlife.

No animals were hurt making Steph Mantis's "Pack Rack". Tiny animal trophy heads are set on bases of reclaimed wood. The rack is wall-mount ready and this proud pack of exotic beasts will happily wear your jewellery when you're not, or guard the keys to your kingdom.

Apparently we're not alone in our fondness for furry creatures. Ross Menuez has designed a line of irresistible soft organic pillows. Hand silk-screened using water-based inks, his quirky designs take us back to a world before the concrete jungle we now call home. With the fauna pillows, create a plush jungle of your own and curl up with your favorite animals. The small 'picos' make perfect soft and safe toys for tiny hands. Not that we're getting any ideas, but fashion photographer Bruce Weber recently commissioned Menuez to create pillows for him with images of his dogs....
