At Fish Lips Paper Designs, owner and designer Kimi Chronis does everything from designing, to packaging and shipping orders. As an interior designer in Los Angeles with a thing for hip textiles, Chronis was on a constant search for excellent design. The vast difference in design quality that existed between textiles and papers always disappointed her. Even more shocking was the lack of recycled gift wrap and other papers. Seeing gift wrap as a great opportunity to express one's personal style, in January 2007 Chronis decided to change that. Fish Lips Paper Designs was started on the kitchen table of her 500 square foot apartement in the very early morning and late night hours around her "real job". Fish Lips Paper Designs is Chronis's personal mission to show the world that fabulously fashionable design and environmental responsibility can not only co-exist, but can be completely symbiotic. Chronis now lives and works in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband and two dogs.
