ferm LIVING is a Danish company that began as a graphic design agency and now produces high-quality homeware including wallpaper, textiles, cushions and other accessories, with a strong graphic aesthetic. Founder, designer Trine Anderson was re-decorating her home and couldn't find wallpaper she liked at an affordable price. Thinking that others shared her frustration, she set out to create graphic wallpaper patterns at affordable prices. The first wallpaper collection hit the streets in February 2006 and fern LIVING hasn't looked back.

"Our products are intended for people who are interested in design and who are not afraid to be a bit bold when they decorate their homes", says Anderson, who has an eye for taking things like retro designs and elements from nature and reinterpreting them in a way that makes them clean and modern.

ferm LIVING strives to achieve sustainability in its production. Anderson believes that everyone can contribute and make a difference and that sustainable production that includes utilizing organic inputs to the greatest extent possible is good for the environment and for our health. ferm LIVING's bedding and cushion covers are 100% organic cotton. Only water-based colours and pigments are used in the production of its wallpapers, which contain no heavy metals, PVC, solvents or other hazardous substances.
