"Down on the Farm" boards

by Wireworks

Headed by Lincoln Rivers, Wireworks collaborated with fine artist Matthew Lauder to produce this range of cutting boards. Rivers says: "We've drawn on vintage animal shapes from our childhood to give each board a personality. Embossed features burnt into the wood add a further quirky dimension."

The boards are individually boxed and presented on a bed of straw. Each one is made by hand from selected, sustainable Beech and then sealed with demineralised oil for protection. Aside from the wood's pleasing consistent grain, Beech is naturally hygienic and provides a safe, superior cutting and serving surface.

Available in the following designs:

  • Carmen the sheep: true character shown in that sneaky sideways glance, who can resist? (33 x 23 x 2.5 cm)
  • Mildred the hen: coquettish, a classic British bird who looks wonderful on a dresser or table. (33 x 23 x 2.5 cm)
  • Darcey the cow: this bovine beauty looks gorgeous and loves serving cheese. (33 x 20 x 2.5 cm)
  • Horace the pig: the perfect porker who delights in serving up your favourite treats. (38.5 x 21 x 2.5 cm)

Keep the boards looking their best by periodically rubbing with vegetable or mineral oil after a hot rinse.

Do not soak in water.
