Atelier HOCH produces high-quality, hand-made contemporary pieces of furniture that embody the spirit and cultural heritage of Quebec while expressing a fresh and distinctive aesthetic. Created using entirely ecologically friendly methods, designs are informed by a deeply held belief in the value of craftsmanship and artisanal expertise to create furniture of enduring charm and use.

The simple, clean lines of the Boréal collection are accentuated with gorgeous, whimsical colour creating a wonderful tension between the playful and the prim.

The hardwood used in the Boréal collection is all either salvaged hard wood or certified FSC. The chairs incorporate NU green panels (formaldehyde free and made of recycled wood fibres) and are covered with a white ash veneer. The cushions on the Boréal chairs are filled with a mixture of plant-based foam and feathers and covered with high-performance fabrics. The feet on the Boréal armchairs are made of aluminium that has been brushed by hand. All oils used in the production of the collection are environmentally friendly and the glues are water-based.
